Heinz Pritzl Bar was one of the great characters of the Luftwaffe fighter arm.

He flew from 1939 until the end of the war, claiming 220 victories.

His last sixteen victories were claimed while flying the Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter, Making him top scorer jet pilot of the war.
